This is "ENEOS Shiraishi Service Station Chatan Mihama Branch(gas station)" located at the Chatan Ihei intersection on Route 58. I had always been aware of the store as it is near Mihama American Village, but I had no idea that it even had a self-service car wash facility attached to it. As you can see in the photo, there is space for 4 car washes, and the wiping area in the back is also quite spacious.
The car wash menu covers everything from wet car washes to foam car washes and super water-repellent car washes. Another great thing about our service is that it's reasonably priced compared to other hand car washes. however…

When you insert a coin, a no-questions-and-answers system is activated in which time passes automatically. I was taking the time to think that the car wash wouldn't start unless I pressed the start button after washing the car with foam, but regardless of whether the start button was pressed or not, the car was ruthlessly stealing my time from washing the car. The pause button has no point to that! ...
Deposit required for towels...!
By the way, there is only one old brush provided in the car wash area, so if you need a towel, please pay a deposit of 500 yen to get it (I have never heard of a deposit for the first time outside of overseas hotels and rental cars)
Other than that, the design of the drainage ditch is a little loose, so foam tends to overflow after car washing, and the hand washing space at the back of the car washing area has a very wild design that you should definitely check out. I was able to come across a unique car wash that was on the same level as Nishihara SS, with a towel deposit system and a time limit system, and I had a really fun time there. After all, a self-service car wash must be like this (?). I'll come back later!
